AIR Music Technology has announced the release of a new line of virtual instruments.

AIR is back in a big way for 2022. Discover our new range of virtual instrument plug-ins resulting from nearly five years of development drawn from twenty years of experience and creating exciting new soft-synths and emulations.

The 7 new plug-ins support VST, VST 3, AU and AAX formats and also operate as standalone desktop software for “Plug and Play” performance with any midi controller.

New AIR virtual instruments

  • Hype: Cover everything from hard-hitting plucks to sultry melodic leads with this preset and macro-based synth combining multiple synth engines (wavetable, FM, virtual analogue, multi-sample) and a giant preset library into a single easy-to-use package.
  • Solina: Based on the iconic classic 6-timbre polyphonic keyboard instrument featuring Contrabass, Cello, Viola, Violin, Trumpet and Horn selections with independent volume, pan and pitch control.
  • Odyssey: WayOutWare captured the behavior, character and charm of the original ARP Odyssey. Shape your perfect sound leveraging the powerful Dual oscillators, LFO, Sample and Hold, Ring-mod, high-pass and low pass filters.
  • Mellotron: A recreation of the legendary tape sample keyboard machine, including 6 Tape Sets featuring the OG’s Flute, Choir and Strings tape samples, giving it a truly authentic sound.
  • Electric: Your total electric piano collection. Choose from a wide array of legendary keyboards like Rhodes, Wurlitzers, FM keyboards, and more developed over decades of research.
  • TubeSynth: Leverages the next generation of advanced analog modelling technology in AIR’s highly acclaimed desktop plugin synth Vacuum Pro.
  • Bassline: The sound of classic mono synths with a contemporary twist. Including four integrated AIR effects as well as two built-in distortion algorithms.
