Ample Sound has announced an update to the Ample Bass Upright virtual instrument for Windows and Mac.
Version 3.4 erases the buzz sound in the original samples with lossless quality. It also features a new “Dark Keys” keyboard skin, and an improved IR related algorithm with higher efficiency of cabinets and reverb.
The ASHost standalone host has been replaced with Rectangles, and the update fixes some problems (VST3 parameter issue, crashes in Riffer and Strummer, and a problem with the uninstaller with the latest versions of MacOS).
Available in VST/VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats, Ample Bass Upright is priced $149 USD. The update is free to existing users, who can re-download and reinstall the ABU v3.4 instrument installer and new sample library installer through the MyAmpleSound webpage.
