Ample Sound has announced the release of an update to 5 of its Ample China series of virtual instruments: Ample Erhu, Dadi, Dongxiao, Qudi and Pipa.
The update includes the following improvements and fixes:
- Added a smoothing process for pitch bends.
- Added a scaling option in Settings.
- Resolved a problem where the plugin might not open in large, multi-track projects.
- Fixed the issue where the Settings interface might open slowly the first time.
- Other updates were made to the code structure.
Ample Pipa has also been updated to fix an issue in the Strummer mode, where when playing the current pattern via keyswitch, the quantize knob would automatically jump back to the default value.
In some cases, the virtual keyboard colors did not display correctly when Strummer was opened, and with Strummer enabled the FX sound does not respond to note off. These issues have been fixed as well.
The upgrade is free for existing users from the MyAmplesound page to download.
