Analogue Drums has released three new drum samples libraries in its Analogue Drums Series I: Big Mono, Rockstock, and Popsticks.
Analogue Drums began in 2002, producing drum samples from tape. For a long time we’ve kept our samples closely guarded and used them as a ‘secret weapon’ to augment or completely replace drums sounds. Now we’re making our sample library available for sale.
Analogue Drums Series I
- Big Mono is a roomy rendition of a lovable Ludwig, a Rogers Dynasonic snare drum, some tasty Zildjians, and a Sabian ride for good luck. Tracked through a ’75 Neve desk, and as always onto a nice thick roll of tape. Recorded in mono using a decca-tree configuration, this kit sounds retro with plenty of space (includes 254 discrete wav samples, Quick-Reference card (PDF), mapping files for: Native Instruments Battery 2, Native Instruments Kontakt 2).
- RockStock is a monster 6-piece Drum Workshop kit with a mix of Zildjian and Sabian cymbals. With close mic and room mic options, tight or spacious sounds can be achieved. Tracked through a ’75 Neve desk, and as always onto a nice thick roll of tape. (includes 752 discrete wav samples, Quick-Reference card (PDF), mapping files for: Native Instruments Battery 2, Native Instruments Kontakt 2).
- Popsticks is our latest kit for your rhythmic enjoyment. It’s a nice tight Slingerland 4-piece, complete with Radio-King snare. Close mic and room mic options give plenty of scope for keeping things interesting. Tracked through a ’75 Neve desk, and as always onto a nice thick roll of tape. (includes 536 discrete wav samples, Quick-Reference card (PDF), mapping files for: Native Instruments Battery 2, Native Instruments Kontakt 2).
