apulSoft has announced an update to its modular multiband equalizer audio plugin. Version 2.6.0 of apQualizr2 comes with various new features, improvements and fixes.
Filter bands are graphically edited on top of a frequency analyzer. It features a module tray to apply modulation to many filter parameters.
apQualizr2 can be used for all standard EQ applications and can produce many modulation and dynamics effects thanks to the included dynamics and lfo modules. Filter bands can be controlled with midi keyboards and controllers using the built-in midi module.

- Added sidechain module to provide the sidechain signal.

- Added aux input to the output module to route parallel signals to the output.

- Improved spectrum graph drawing.
- Improved handling of drag-to-create from the sum curve.
- Fixed: Updated AAX SDK to work around automation issues in newer versions of Pro Tools.
- Fixed: For zones of very low gain, analog and mixed phase correction was broken on Windows.
apQualizr2 is available for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX), priced $79 USD. The update is free for existing users.
