Arturia has announced two new essential tools for recording producers and sound engineers who are looking for additional high-quality analog I/O.
By extending digital connectivity, AudioFuse X8 provides more channels for instruments and outboard gear. By connecting to any interface or mixer with an ADAT port AudioFuse X8 is an affordable upgrade to an existing setup. It enhances studio flexibility and scalability while preserving audio quality, accommodating the demands of modern music production and sound design.
The AudioFuse X8 IN is an 8 channel Analog-to-ADAT input expander which enables you to extend your synth and instrument array and have all your gear connected at once and ready to record in your DAW. Supporting 8 channels of premium analog-to-ADAT conversion up to 96 kHz and utilizing the best components available, AudioFuse X8 IN ensures that your recordings maintain the highest fidelity. Front-panel controls offer direct access to channel management, making setup and adjustments straightforward. Colorful VU meters provide clear visual feedback for monitoring levels.
AudioFuse X8 OUT is an 8 channel ADAT-to-Analog output expander enabling you to send audio to outboard gear (hardware FX, mixing console…), add additional speakers and control an array of synths via DC-coupled output.
Designed as half-sized rack units, AudioFuse X8 comes with removable rack ears for flexible installation. This allows them to be used as desktop units or mounted in a standard rack setup, accommodating up to two units side by side for expanded setups. Both AudioFuse X8 units come with the AudioFuse Creative Suite, an ever-evolving selection of creative plugins curated from Arturia’s award-winning FX Collection.
AudioFuse X8 IN and AudioFuse X8 OUT will be sold separately for 349 USD/EUR and 299 USD/EUR, respectively. Units will be available worldwide from July 24th, 2024.
