Audialab has announced the release of two free products that aim to revolutionize the music production industry.
Audialab Engine and Deep Sampler 2 are innovative tools that enable artists to harness the power of cutting-edge AI models locally on their computers, transforming the way music is created and produced.
We’re providing a foundation for community-driven innovation in AI-powered music creation, allowing artists to run powerful models right on their own machines. Audialab Engine is poised to become the ‘Ollama for music’.
Audialab Engine is a platform that allows users to download, run, and utilize open-source generative models for music production directly on their computers. Built on this engine, Deep Sampler 2 is a VST/AU plugin that makes AI-generation relevant to music production workflows right in the DAW.
Deep Sampler 2 lets you generate or modify samples using text prompts, allowing you to create a diverse palette of sounds, including drums, melodies, textures, and more. You can choose different source models for different capabilities, and the AI-assisted sound design helps you overcome creative blocks.
We’re ushering in an era where AI becomes a personalized instrument in every artist’s toolkit. Imagine producers crafting, sharing, and blending AI models as unique as their sound – it really amplifies the diversity of human creativity.
Just as we’ve seen in the open-source language model community, we believe music will soon have hundreds, if not thousands, of specialized models offering novel sounds and capabilities, putting unprecedented creative power in artists’ hands. – Berkeley Malagon, CEO of Audialab
Audialab Engine and Deep Sampler 2 are available as a free download for macOS (10.13 and later). Windows and Linux versions are in development.
