Audible Genius has released an update to its synth training software. Version 2.3 of Syntorial introduces a new feature called Remakes, which allows users to recreate iconic synth sounds from well-known songs as ear-training challenges.
Syntorial is a video game-like training software, that will teach you how to program synthesizers all by ear. With almost 200 lessons, combining video demonstrations with interactive challenges, you’ll get hands-on experience programming patches on a built-in soft synth. And learn everything you need to know to start making your own sounds with ease.
With Remakes, users can now recreate synth patches from classic and contemporary songs across multiple genres and decades. Patch challenges can be sorted by artist, genre, decade, patch type, and Syntorial difficulty, and you can receive instant feedback and scores after submitting each patch.
Additional presets and patch breakdowns can be explorer at syntorial.com/presets, including downloadable versions for the free Primer synth and other supported formats.
All Remakes challenges are included for free and available in the free Syntorial app, making this feature accessible to all users. Syntorial owners can download the latest update from their online account, while new users can download the free Syntorial app.
Full lifetime access to Syntorial and all subsequent lesson packs is priced $129.99 USD at the Syntorial store and from Plugin Boutique.
