Audio Assault has announced the release of XCTR, a harmonic exciter effect plug-in for Windows and Mac.
Harmonic exciters can give a shine to certain frequencies in the mix. They can be used on drums to make the cymbals shine, bring up the kick drum on a stereo bus, bring some life back into a dull instrument, or even some shine to the whole mix.
XCTR is a multi band harmonic exciter based on our Head Crusher saturation.
