Audiolatry has released an update to its lofi virtual instrument plugin for Windows and macOS.

Characterized by lush evolving sounds, grainy textures, retro synth re-interpretations, dusty keys, vintage basses, and more, version 4 of Amurg comes with 13 new sounds, bringing the total of included presets to 172.

Inside are a varied collection of keys, leads, pads, basses, and fx suitable for Lofi, Ambient, Retro, Hip Hop, RnB, Cinematic, EDM, etc.

All the sounds were captured from hardware synthesizers only, edited, and looped (where applicable). Each preset is customizable with a set of controls such as ADSR envelope, LFO modulation, filter cutoff, reverb, delay, chorus, distortion, etc.

Amurg 4 (VST/VST3 and AU) is on sale for the intro price of $18 USD for a limited time (regular $30 USD). A free and fully functional Lite version includes 15 presets taken from the full edition.
