AudioThing has releases an update to its 8bit/chiptune synthesizer instrument designed to brings the sounds of ’80s game consoles and retro computers to your DAW.
Version 1.7 of miniBit comes with a standalone version for Windows, Mac and Linux, support for macOS Sonoma, graphics controls (brightness and contrast), alongside improved CPU and memory usage and fixes for some minor graphic issues.
miniBit takes inspiration from the iconic sound of classic game consoles and retro computers of the 80s and 90s that we collected over the years. It delivers the unmistakable charm of vintage 8-bit sounds, ideal for creating authentic chiptune music or adding a touch of nostalgic character to any production.
miniBit for desktop (VST/VST3, AU, AAX and CLAP) is on sale for $9 USD instead of $20 USD at the AudioThing store and from Plugin Boutique. The iOS version is $4.99 USD at the App Store (regular $14.99 USD). The offer expires January 5th, 2024.
