BFD has announced a groundbreaking extension of its award-winning BFD3 drum software, continuing the tradition of delivering high-caliber drum kits, grooves, and mixing capabilities.

Available to download for free, the BFD Player instrument comes with 340 grooves executed by top-tier drummers, fully categorized by parameters such as genre, tempo, and leading hand.

BFD Player is designed for seamless integration with popular Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) as well as standalone operation. The intuitive interface provides access to authentic drum sounds, professionally crafted grooves, and a versatile mixer, enabling users to achieve studio-quality drum tracks with ease. Grooves can be dragged and dropped into DAW timelines to quickly build up a track.

BFD Player is characterized by its sonic excellence. The free BFD Player software includes over 5.25GB of meticulously sampled drum kits. These kits are recorded by professional engineers using world-class hardware and microphones.

Two additional packs featuring new kits, grooves, and mix setups are available at launch. London 70s and Dark Mahogany are priced $29.99 USD / £29.99 GBP each.

Available for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX), BFD Player is free to download at Plugin Boutique and from the BFD website.
