As developers rushed to be the first to grab your attention, this year’s Black Friday quickly turned into Black Friday Week. At this rate I would not be surprised if we’ll be having Black November by next year…
I have been trying to keep up with all the sales, posting news items and updating the huge list of deals. Frankly, it’s just too much! For next year I will have to come up with another way to share all these promotions.
To help you see the forest through the trees, here are some of my personal highlights. If anything pops up later, I’ll add it.
For the best one-stop shopping, make sure to head on over to Plugin Boutique, where you’ll find some great deals on industry heavyweights such as iZotope, Softube, Soundtoys, Toontrack, FabFilter, Output, Eventide, Heavyocity, Rob Papen and many more. They also offer some of the deepest discounts, with quite a few items under $5 USD from SoundSpot, AIR Music Technology, Sonivox and more.
Applied Acoustics Systems has priced its bundles at a huge 60% discount, including the Integral Bundle that comprises all their plugins and sound packs. I don’t think I’ve seen them offer such a high discount before. Individual plugins and sound packs are also up to 55% off. I am a big fan of Chromaphone 2 and the Objeq Delay.
VST Buzz has a special collection of 10 Black Friday Deals, including the Sektor synthesizer, excellent Verberate reverb plugin by Acon Digital, and the Factory synth from Sugar Bytes.
If you’re interested in Waves Audio plugins, this is great time to pick up something new. The more you buy, the more free plugins you receive, and you can also get the new Sibilance de-esser for free!
Through November 28th, you can get the existing Shreddage 2 series guitars (original, IBZ, and SRP), Shreddage Bass 2, and Archtop: Hollowbody Electric Guitar for just $39 USD each at Impact Soundworks. Great value, and once these get S3 versions you’ll get massive upgrade discounts on the upgrades.
Kilohearts has a fantastic deal on The Works, its all encompassing bundle of plugins. It is on sale for only $199 USD and if you already own some plugins you can also upgrade at a discount.
Keep your eye on Audio Plugin Deals for the next few days. Every few hours they are adding another exclusive sale. You can already pick up some great bundle deals on virtual instruments by Impact Soundworks, Soundiron and Embertone.
Looking for some samples or synth presets? Loopmasters has an amazing Black Friday sale on thousands of packs, including many limited time bundles from its partner labels. Producers Choice has 50% off on all packs and bundles. Great sounds for Hip Hop or Trap type music.
And if vintage drum machines and synths is your kind of thing, you will definitely want to visit Samples From Mars. They are offering their complete collection of sample packs for only $39 USD (regular value $1,367 USD). You can also just get everything released in 2018 for $29 USD or grab bundles with all synths or all drums. Amazing deal!
