Blue Cat Audio has announced a brand new application and plugin designed as a peer-to-peer network mixing and streaming console, allowing you to collaborate in real time over a local network or through the internet.

Fader Hub acts as a hub and personal mixer for multiple musicians, with built-in remote multi-track recording, audio effects and 3rd party plugin support.

Whether you are working with traditional audio sources, virtual instruments or other musicians in the same room or remote locations, Fader Hub can mix them all: it features a local mixing console for blending audio inputs from an interface, and a network mixer that can transmit the local mixdown to other computers over the network, and also mix it locally with the audio streams received from them.

Leveraging the same lossless real-time audio streaming technology, Fader Hub and the newly updated Connector seamlessly integrate and interact with each other.

Version 1.3 of the audio and MIDI streaming plugin enhances network performance, enabling lower latency when connecting applications over the network. Additionally, it introduces audio compression features to minimize network traffic and now supports audio and MIDI transmission over Wi-Fi.

The update is free for existing users and new customers can purchase Connector at the reduced price of 39 USD/EUR during the intro promotion (regular 49 USD/EUR).
