Blue Cat Audio has announced a free update for its creative delay and reverb plugin capable of loading third party plugins anywhere in its signal chain.
Version 1.65 of Late Replies adds the ability to customize the colors of all plugin slots individually, and brings the ability to oversample processing for each plugin (up to 16x).
It is now possible to mix Late Replies’ own parameters with hosted plugins’ parameters in macros, and they can be reordered easily thanks to copy/paste and drag and drop support in the editor.
With its unique topology, the plug-in is a full-featured delay machine with unlimited powers: both the 8 taps pattern module and the two nested feedback loops include plug-in slots that can host built-in effects or third party plug-ins. So it’s not just about delays!
The plug-in includes 29 built-in effects to further manipulate the delay lines: modulation effects, EQ and filters, dynamics processors, pitch and frequency shifters, wave shaper… With the integrated ducker and its side chain input, ducking delays or reverbs has never been so easy.
Available in VST/VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats for Windows and Mac, Blue Cat’s Late Replies is on sale for 99 USD/EUR until July 13th, 2023 (regular 129 USD/EUR). The update is free to existing users of the plugin.
