Decent Samples has released a free sample library featuring the sounds of a classic toy keyboard from 1981, lovingly sampled and turned into a free instrument.
The Bontempi Memoplay 26 was an extremely basic toy organ introduced in 1981. Its sound consisted of a simple slightly glitchy pulse wave and, friends, that pulse wave can now be yours!
As is the custom around these parts, we’ve added many feature the actual keyboard doesn’t have: an envelope, reverb, chorus, and a tone control.
The sample library is free to download for the Decent Sampler player plugin, which is also free.
