Capsule Audio has released an update to intuitive and innovative synthesis engine Capsule, which concentrates its intricate sound design into eight easy-to-use macro controls.

The update introduces MacOS Monterey compatibility and various other improvements and fixes.

Changes in Capsule v1.7

  • Add voice dispersion to virtual analog engine (only available with upcoming presets).
  • Improved Apple Silicon compatibility. Added support for macOS Monterey, improved user interface rendering for Capsule Portal and Plugin when running on M1 Macs under Rosetta 2, and additional preparation work towards native support for Apple Silicon..
  • Added reverse mode to delay FX.
  • Allow disabling OpenGL rendering in the Capsule plugin.
  • Adjust plugin default settings.
  • Fix broken cloud-Connection on MacOS (endless spinner).
  • Fix crash when rendering tracks in Ableton Live.
  • Fix error with undo history in Live.
  • Improved crash reporting for Portal.

The latest version of the Capsule plugin (VST3/AU) is available to download now. A selection of Capsule instruments is on sale for only $12 USD each at Plugin Boutique until October 31st, 2022.
