CB Sounddesign has announced a new virtual instrument inspired by the traditional Japanese Taishogoto (Nagoya Harp).
Available for Audiomodern’s newly released Soundbox MPE sampler, the Electric Taishogoto library is based on an original electric soprano model from the early 1990s, carefully recorded to capture its distinct character.
Electric Taishogoto features
- Detailed sampling: DI recordings with 2-4 velocity layers for strummed patches.
- Authentic expression: Two velocity layers for key presses, preserving the mechanical nuances of the instrument.
- Additional textures: Includes atmospheric sounds from a bowed Taishogoto.
- Electric Taishogoto is well-suited for a variety of creative applications, from traditional tones to experimental soundscapes.
Available for the Soundbox Engine (free to download), the library is on currently sale at a 25% discount at A Sound Effect.
Additionally, CB Sounddesign has launched a Black Friday Sale with up to 70% off on select sound libraries, including Activation, Cyberdeck, and Applicable Sounds. The offer is available at A Sound Effect and from the Loot Audio store.
