Cherry Audio has announced the release of the new and improved version of the incredibly detailed emulation of the world’s most beloved tonewheel organs, continuing the legacy of excellence established by its original developer, GG Audio.

The updated Blue3 Tonewheel Organ painstakingly simulates every feature and circuit, and more importantly, every single source of imperfection, to give the virtual instrument an extraordinary richness that delivers the iconic, soulful sounds associated with nearly a century of blues, gospel, rock, and jazz classics.

Blue3 Organ is a meticulously modeled — not sampled — virtual instrument replicating the world’s most famous tonewheel organs: the B-3, C-3, A-100, L-100, CV, and M-3 models. It features 31 tonewheel sets that accurately capture the variations between vintage instruments, 91 modeled tonewheels with phase synchronization, and an authentically emulated scanner vibrato/chorus.

Blue3 Organ now comes with a new, beautifully designed user interface with Main, Edit, Cabinet, and Perform sections, 3 studio-quality stompbox-style effects (tape echo delay, reverb with spring, plate & hall, and 7-band graphic EQ), improved drawbar utilities, and over 200 presets spanning from classic to modern tones.

Available in VST/VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats and as standalone software for Windows and Mac, Blue3 is priced $49 USD at the Cherry Audio store and from Plugin Boutique and ADSR Sounds.

Existing GG Audio customers with registered accounts at Cherry Audio can access their original Blue3 and Spin software, as well as receive a 20% discount on the new Blue3 Organ.
