Cinesamples has announced the release of CineStrings CORE, a virtual instrument library for Native Instruments Kontakt that contains the basic set of articulations needed to do most of the traditional writing and programming for the string section.
The CineStrings Core Library is Cinesamplesʼ orchestral string sample library for Kontakt. Recorded at the world famous SONY Pictures Scoring Stage in Los Angeles, and mixed by veteran legend Dennis Sands.The CineStrings CoreLibrary covers the essentials of the orchestral string section, and functions as afoundation in any scoring palette.
CineStrings is revolutionary in its power and simplicity for recreating the sound ofthe orchestral string section. CineStrings library does not require you topurchase any additional sample playback software, and is licensed to work withthe Native Instrument’s free Kontakt Player. All you need is a sequencer likeLogic, Cubase, Digital Performer, LIVE, Protools, Cakewalk, or evenApple GarageBand and youʼll be up and running. You can also use CineStrings with your favorite notation software such as Sibelius or Finale.
CineStrings for Kontakt is available to purchase for the introductory price of $429 USD until December 3rd, 2013 (regular $499 USD).
