All vocals were written and arranged by Sheree Hicks, who after signing to Def Jam in the mid-90’s, has been an ever-present force in the music business. During that time, she’s written for Blackstreet/Teddy Riley, Heavy D, C & C Music Factory & more. Sheree has an extensive catalogue and has written in just about every genre of music from R&B to Pop, Gospel, and more recently House, with the likes of Terry Hunter and Josh Milan from Blaze. She also provided the vocals for Loopmasters’ best-selling ‘House Vocal Sessions’.
Inspired by a range of deep, soulful and classic house productions, these silky smooth vocals were recorded in Chicago exclusively for this product using a Focusrite Blue 315 pre-amp, high end EQ’s and Neumann U87 microphone. This all analog signal chain ensures warm, crisp vocals which will fit easily into the mix. The main stems are served without reverb or delay to allow you total creative freedom in the mix.
