Corin Neff Zebra Orchestra

Corin Neff has announced the release of the Zebra Orchestra, a soundset for the Zebra 2 virtual synthesizer by u-he.

Hello Zebra users and fanatics! After nearly a year of experimentation and lots of fun emulating acoustic instruments, Esgalachoir is offering his hard work to the Zebra public!

The Zebra Orchestra easily stands on it’s own when it comes to making cinematic/orchestral music. However, it’s also an excellent supplement for those who already have an advanced arsenal of sounds at their disposal.

Zebra Orchestra features

  • 131 patches, including 12 Brass, 12 Woodwinds, 9 Strings, 6 Mallets, 33 Percussive instruments, 38 Soundscapes, 13 Synths, 8 Sequences.
  • Plus extra “scrap” presets, handmade LFOs, as well as some wavetables.
  • 68 patches have complete XY Mappings. Nearly all patches have modwheel functions.

The soundset is available for the introductory price of $20 USD until January 6th, 2013.

The site is inaccessible, hidden behind WIX’s promotional activities.

Working fine here, I only see a “This site was created by -Create your own for FREE” banner in the bottom.

For some reason I missed this post earlier. These sound pretty epic. I think the real win is since they are not sampled, you can push more from the base timber using the XYs
