D16 Group has announced the release of an update to its drum machine plugin designed to bring the sounds of the TR-606 Drumatix from Roland to your DAW.

Nithonat 2 features an improved processing path, more accessible GUI layout and various new features.

Characteristic, harsh and metallic sounds that cut through the mix like butter. A whole spectrum of sounds is now at your fingertips – rumbling kicks, barky snares and completely unique, ear-grabbing toms and hi-hats.

New in Nithonat 2

  • Over 900 presets: Get inspired immediately with factory presets full of Scenes, Drum Kits and Patterns. You can focus on developing your music immediately.
  • Inspiring sequencer: Convenient piano-roll like pattern editor with tight host synchronization, drag’n’drop MIDI export and expanded palette of per-step articulations.
  • Refreshed emulation: Replicating each individual instrument with meticulous accuracy.
  • Dedicated channel strip for every drum sound: With EQ and compression per instrument, you can quickly tweak sounds to your needs. The 606 is very flexible in that department.
  • Two bus effect chains: 5 slots-each with 8 algorithms to select from to get the exact sound you’re looking for.
  • Capable master section: Multiband compressor to glue everything together and Limiter to control and add power to the output.

Available for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX), Nithonat 2 is on sale for the introduction price of 69 USD/EUR until July 6th, 2024 (regular 119 USD/EUR). Upgrades and loyalty discounts are available.

Nithonat 2 is available to purchase at the D16 Group store and from Plugin Boutique.
