Decent Samples has introduced a new sample library with the sounds of the Casio VL-1, the VL-Tone series instrument which combines a calculator, monophonic digital synthesizer, and sequencer.
The Casio VL-1 was released in 1979, and quickly became worldwide sensation. It is often hailed as the first mass-produced digital synthesizer. For this sample library, we’ve sampled all of the classic tones the instrument as well as 6 of the raw tones.
The Casio VL-1 library is free to download for the Decent Sampler player plugin for Windows, Mac, Linux and iOS (also free).
