discoDSP has announced an update to its plugin bundle for audio enthusiasts and professionals alike. Version 2.6 of the FX Bundle includes some improvements and a major update of the NightShine compressor.
The NightShine 2 compressor brings the coveted character of the Alesis 3630 compressor into the modern era. While the original 3630 became famous for shaping the sound of French house music and hit records, the discoDSP version maintains that distinctive analog warmth.
Using 16x oversampling and analog modeling, NightShine 2 delivers high-end dynamics processing that can both gently smooth your tracks or absolutely pump with that characteristically musical compression behavior the original was known for.
The advanced peak and RMS detection modes, combined with analog-modeled soft-knee compression, provide natural-sounding gain control that works on everything from subtle vocal processing to aggressive drum compression.
