discoDSP has announced an update to the OB-Xd synthesizer instrument, bringing some new features and improvements to the Oberheim-inspired software synthesizer.
One of the most notable additions to this update is the ProTools AAX Universal Binary plug-in. This means that OB-Xd is now compatible with ProTools on both macOS Intel and Apple Silicon, allowing even more musicians to utilize the power of this amazing synthesizer.
Additionally, we have fixed the Linux Demo preset Banks, ensuring that they are now fully functional and ready to use. This update also includes a new MIDI CC 32 LSB Bank change, allowing you to seamlessly switch between different preset banks with ease.
We have also addressed an issue with MIDI CC OSC2 Octave MIDI CC, which is now working correctly as #31. This means that you can now control the octave of OSC2 with MIDI CC, giving you even more control over your sound. Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that this feature has also been added to OB-Xd for iOS.
OB-Xd is free to download from discoDSP, while the commercial version with AAX, VST3, and LV2 plugin support is $49 USD at the discoDSP store and from distributor PluginFox.
