Resonance Sound has introduced a new sound pack for the Serum software synthesizer from Xfer Records. Drift Phonk Vol. 1 for Serum contains a collection of 64 presets, including 808s, bass, keys, leads, pads, bells, brass, and more.
It’s no doubt that Phonk has emerged to one of the hottest genres this year. Coming almost from nowhere, the resources for this genre are still very much uncovered. We are here to change that! In the last few months we have locked ourselves in the studios and analyzed the most famous Phonk artists. Producers like Kordhell, DVRST, TWISTED, Dxrk, MoonDeity, MUPP, or Hensonn have shaped the drift Phonk scene of the last months. Their styles inspired the creation of this soundset.
With this Serum Pack, you get everything you need for the next Phonk record. From atmospheric dark pads, to booming 808s, hard basses, and of course a variety of unique cowbells to capture the signature sound of the genre. As always, all 64 presets come with full macro assignment to maximize flexibility.
