Echo Season has introduced a new sound pack featuring 115 presets for the Iridium synthesizer from Waldorf. Geared towards Ambient, Psybient, and Downtempo but equally suited towards Berlin School, Liquid DnB, and Synthwave, Catalyst provides a potent alchemy of sonic timbres to add to your mix, and serves as an inspiring element to jump start your creativity.
The included patches range from lush ephemeral pads, immersive soundscapes, subsonic basses, to futuristic sequences, juicy resonant basslines, 303 inspired leads, as well as delicate plucks and keys, smooth bells and rich vintage synths.
All patches feature Modwheel, Velocity, Aftertouch and X/Y pad assignments. Extensive modulations guarantee a multitude of permutations and invite you to twist and tweak to explore the nuances of each patch.
The soundset is available to purchase for $30 USD. It requires Iridium/Quantum firmware v3.0.1 or higher.
