Elektron has announced the release of Yard Sale Gear, a sound pack for the Octatrack by Goldbaby.
The pride of instruments you would normally find stowed away in some creaky attic has been restored. Goldbaby is the man behind this cultural achievement. He has dusted off his impressive inventory of forgotten and elusive gear and recorded them all. Soothing samba rhythms, cheap organs and plasticky and charming keyboard tones: the timelessness of the sounds make them forever contemporary.
The sound pack is specifically made for the Octatrack. Included is an Octatrack set featuring 1 project, 16 patterns and 4 parts. Also included are 16 scenes per part, providing a great starting point for experimenting with the demo patterns.
The sound pack costs 30 EUR.
