Eventide Audio has introduced a new polyphonic synthesizer for the H90 Harmonizer multi-effects pedal.

PolySynth is a fully polyphonic guitar-to-synth transformer that can recreate the input into a full-on synthesized sound or be blended with the source tone for effects from subtle to profound.

Did anyone order extra Sawz? Using the SIFT technology found in the Polyphony, Prism Shift, and PolyFlex algorithms, and building on the earlier work done for our HotSawz algorithm we’ve created PolySynth – a fully polyphonic Guitar to Synth transformer. With up to 3 voices, multiple modulation options, and envelope control of the filter cutoff you can add just a drop of synth tone, or layer it on extra thick.

PolySynth features

  • Flawless polyphonic tracking using SIFT.
  • 3 Voices with independent Level, Shift amount, and Wave Shape controls.
  • LFO modulation of the filter cutoff, volume, pitch or pulse width modulation.
  • Expressive Envelope control of the filter cutoff frequency.
  • Spread and Detune to create massively wide and thick sounds.
  • Adjustable Attack time for ultimate playability or extra large swells.
  • Freeze performance parameters to create infinitely sustaining synth sounds.
  • Parameters that all affect the frozen sound for an effect that becomes an instrument.

PolySynth is available as a free download for the H90 Harmonizer via H90 Control.
