FabFilter has announced that all FabFilter Pro plugins are now available as AUv3 plug-ins on iOS.
Apple’s iPad has become a more serious music production platform over the past years, thanks to more processing power and the advent of the AUv3 plug-in format. While we have been offering our plug-ins as in-app purchases in Auria for quite some time, you could not use them in other hosts.
We are now proud to announce that all FabFilter Pro plug-ins are available as AUv3 plug-ins on iOS, so they can be used in any AUv3-compatible host. Compatible hosts include Auria, GarageBand, Cubasis, AUM, and n-Track Pro.
As you might expect from us, we have put a lot of effort into refining and tweaking the plug-in interfaces with great touch behavior and support for various interface sizes, including full screen support in all plug-ins.
The AUv3 plug-ins are available for sale individually starting at $29.99 USD, or as a Pro Bundle that includes all of them for $129.99 USD. It’s possible to buy one or more now, and later upgrade to the AUv3 Pro Bundle: in this case you’ll pay just the remaining sum.
If you purchased the AUv3 plug-in version of FabFilter Pro-Q 2 for iOS before, you can upgrade to the AUv3 version of Pro-Q 3 by buying the Pro-Q 3 Upgrade Bundle. The amount that you paid for Pro-Q 2 (AUv3) will be deducted from the bundle price, resulting in up to 50% discount for the upgrade.
