Fanan Team has introduced a new Caribbean-style rhythmic synthesizer instrument for Windows.

Specifically designed to produce arpeggios in the Caribbean musical style, Tropicana caters to fans of calypso, soca, reggae, reggaeton, and dancehall.

The synth features three independent wavetable/pad oscillators, each capable of operating both together and independently. Users can choose between a wavetable sound engine and a pad section in the synthesis section. It supports both mono and poly modes per oscillator and combines three mono playing techniques.

The highlight of Tropicana is its modular arpeggiator, blending a chord-driven MIDI arpeggiator with 1000 built-in arpeggios and a chord-driven MIDI trance gate with a 16-step maximum. Both the arpeggiator and trance gate can independently follow played chords or work together on the same MIDI arpeggio line.

Available for Windows (VST/VST3), Tropicana is priced $17 USD as a part of the “Cosmic Pack”.
