FeelYourSound has announced an update to its MIDI generator plugin TranceEngine, a specialized songwriting tool for Windows and Mac.
TranceEngine turns any chord progression into uplifting melodies, driving arpeggios, deep basslines, and memorable hooks.
If you don’t have your own chord progression yet, TranceEngine can generate one for you. Different progression algorithms make it easy to start a new song from scratch. The plug-in is suitable for all Trance styles, but it is a good fit for other genres as well. TranceEngine comes with a big list of presets for all subgenres: Uplifting, Progressive, Psy, Dream, Tech, Futurepop – anything is possible.
Changes in TranceEngine v1.1.0
- 374 MIDI generators available now: +27 new presets (6 arpeggio on more octaves, 8 mid bass, 8 mid bass on scale root, 3 acid, 2 plucks bass and chords).
- Better overview of preset classes: Click on the “Go to..” button on the preset page to see all preset family names.
- Use a preview instrument of your own choice: Click on the settings button on the preset page to switch between automatic sound selection and fixed instruments.
- Chord resizing in Chord Editor: Drag the start or end marker of a chord to resize it.
- Windows: No support for Win32 anymore.
- macOS: The installer doesn’t need Rosetta 2 to run anymore.
Available in VST/VST3 and AU plugin formats, TranceEngine is priced 46 USD/EUR (Standard version) or 368 USD/EUR (Pro version). The update is free for all customers.
