Orchestral Tools has launched a new free virtual instrument for its SINEplayer (also free).
Formby is a distinctly modern take on the four-stringed classic ukulele, designed to capture the whimsical nature of the instrument.
Formby comes complete with plenty of detail and playability, offering up and downstrokes, major and minor chords, and a choice of keyboard layout options.
This free ukulele is perfect for the whimsical strummed accompaniments and plucked arpeggios the instrument has become synonymous with, but Formby is also up for something a little more adventurous if you are.
Formby and all other SINEfactory instruments are available for free to registered users.
