HoRNet Plugins is celebrating the release of its new HoRNet Jamming Rock by offering one of the effects that you can find in that plugin as a free download for the next few days.
Modeled after the Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer, the HoRNet HTS9 plugin brings the classic overdrive effect to your DAW.
The sound of the pedal can be recognized in many recordings and it’s a favourite among blues and rock guitar players. The pedal’s job is to lightly distort the guitar sound and provide a sort of “boost” for the tubes in the amplifier. This is accomplished by two different stages, the first is a frequency dependent diode clipper, the second stage is a tone shaper that is made by a filter that morphs itself from a low shelf to a high shelf.
We tried to stay as close as possible to the sound of the original pedal, but we also have added analog style processing all over the signal path, of course this emulation can be disabled if you want a cleaner sound. The plugin always provide the best possible sound thanks to automatic oversampling.
Regularly 6.99 EUR, the HTS9 is available as a free download until October 21st, 2022, 9pm CET. It comes in VST/VST3, AU and AAX formats for Windows and Mac.
