Imo the point is to say a certain deal or freebie is online until XY and write to “check back” and then just cutting it off a day later. I like the guys at Dynamedion and have worked with them personally. But they’re not in this Server/Online/Providing-Game since yesterday. So I don’t understand why they just not re-instate the giveaway until the 20th as they said they would. Nowhere was a certain amount of copies stated. I don’t see the point besides just leaving a sour taste in the mouth of first-time-visitors and customers alike. Stupid move.
Can’t remember if I saw it on the website, but their newsletter stated “completely free for 7 days, with only 10,000 licenses available”, which is what I put in the article as well.

I think you guys are underestimating the amount of people that jump on a freebie like this. That said, Boom Library could probably have prepared a bit better for the strain it put on their servers…

And that despite the fact that the server was unavailable the entire time. You can see how BOOM lies to users. Lying proves even more how BOOM thinks about the user. Fortunately, there are enough competitors who sell their plugins without lying.
Yesterday they said on their website
“due to overwhelming response we have to do maintenance but don’t worry just check back the offer is online until october 20th”
Now today it says :
“SORRY
Due to your overwhelming demand for our STEREOLAB plug-in, the 10,000 free licenses are already taken.
”

It loaded slowly, but now it’s working for me.
The BOOM homepage is not accessible. If their plugins work as well as their accessibility, then amen.
