Ohm Force has announced the release of a free filter effect based on the popular Frohmage plugin. Frohmager adds various new features such as a modulation matrix and a brand new Macros² system.

Like its ancestor it’s a one of kind low pass filter with added resonant harmonics and distortion. Like its ancestor, it’s free. Unlike it’s ancestor it has a large new UI that wasn’t sculpted out of gruyere, an extensive modulation matrix with LFOs, bizarre LFOs, Step Sequencer, ADSR, Envelope Follower, randomisation and Macros that offer so much more mapping option than the usual that Ohm Force had to rename them “Macros²”.

It also has a fully fledged browser pane documenting each preset while letting you play with the Macros² for an instantly rewarding experience.

Frohmager is available for Windows and macOS in VST/VST3, AU, and AAX plugin formats. It also supports NKS.
