Glitchmachines has released a major update to its granular sampler geared toward experimental sound design.
Version 2.0 of Palindrome comes with a number of highly requested features, including a revised granular engine, envelope curves and shape presets, new bit crusher and vowel filter insert effects, new random modulation sources, new solo modes, a revised interface, a new factory sample library, over 80 new presets and various optimizations.
With its 4 granular samplers, morph-plotting system, 8 multi-breakpoint modulation envelopes, dual effects processors per sampler, shape presets, 4-note polyphony, deep randomization system, global reverb, 1.5GB sample library and numerous factory presets, Palindrome brings sound designers a powerful new sound sculpting tool.
Available in VST3 and AU formats for Windows and Mac, Palindrome 2 is priced $79 USD at Plugin Boutique and from the Glitchmachines store.
Owners of the original Palindrome can upgrade to version 2.0 for $25 USD.
