Goldbaby has announced the release of a new sample pack featuring the sounds of a selection of digital hardware drums, including the ER-1, MachineDrum, Nord Drum 2, Kastle, Razzamatazz, Volca Drum, Double Drummer, Neuron, and Peaks.
Featuring a total of 4,119 one shot samples, the Digital Drum Dose pack also contains kits and patches for Maschine, Kontakt, Battery, Logic Pro and Ableton Live.
These tasty machines use drum synthesis methods like physical modelling, FM, waveguide resonators and Virtual Analog, and all have their own character. I have done a deep dive into their capabilities and created some fantastic drum sounds!
All were recorded through high-end studio hardware and a few sounds through the odd guitar pedal! Very punchy and very usable in a variety of different genres.
