Goldbaby has announced the release of a new sample pack featuring a collection of round-robin sampled claps and snaps. Created using drum machines, real hands and a combination of both, Animated Claps and Snaps was recorded through tasty hardware in the Goldbaby studio.
The pack contains a selection of 237 claps and snaps with 7 round robin layers each.
Round-robin is a method of sample playback where you can trigger different sampled versions of the same sound each time you hit the same key/pad. This can give natural variations in otherwise static patterns.
Alternatively, you don’t have to use the round-robin feature and can use a single sample if you want a steady, non-animated sound.
Priced $19 USD, the sample pack comes with patches for Logic Pro, Battery, Kontakt & Maschine, Ableton Live and TAL-Drum.
