Ginger Audio has announced the release of a professional multichannel audio routing and control room application for Mac users.
GroundControl Sphere is a powerful software monitoring solution for surround and immersive sound, supporting speaker layouts of up to 9.1.6. Users can monitor up to eight speaker sets simultaneously, any output can be routed to all the speakers or any subset of speakers. Users can also initialize and reference different speaker systems.
GroundControl Sphere allows users to route audio from DAW, Dolby renderer, Apple music, Tidal, or any other streaming platform, for referencing purposes. Sphere lets users input up to eight audio sources of any kind using its extensive virtual audio bridge capabilities.
Sphere features built-in room correction processing, offering comprehensive bass management and time & level alignment for each speaker. Users can utilize any of their favorite EQ plugins on any speaker output. They can also use multiple instances of their room correction plugin on any output.
