HAL has released a plugin designed to intuitively manipulate multiple sound sources in any speaker configuration. A familiar-looking yet powerful panner that is also a flexible mixer and router, Move-it supports up to 16 input and output channels.
The plugin allows for seamless integration with every speaker arrangement, be it 5.1, 7.1.2, 9.1.6 — or any custom setup — whether you’re working on a film, a live show, or an immersive art installation.
Move-it lets you quickly access a wide range of parameters, including Volume, mute, solo, and XYZ coordinates for every sound source and every speaker, as well as spread (source size) and speaker re-injection. Take advantage of horizontal and vertical mirroring and rotations using simple keyboard shortcuts, providing easy access to a variety of sound movements and manipulations. We implemented multiple ways to do many tasks in Move-it, so that you’ll find the most intuitive workflow for you, whether through keyboard shortcuts, quick mouse actions or EUCON controllers.
Select multiple objects simply by clicking and dragging over them, or by using shift and click; or even right click to select all objects. Dealing with the low-end is now easier than ever : Move-it features LFE send level (pre or post fader) for each source, plus a high-pass filter on each speaker with option to route the filtered signal to the LFE channel (bass management).
