Haptic Audio has launched EVAC: Source, a new sample library by veteran sound designer and electronic musician Jeremy Goldstein (EVAC, Quadrant Five Studios).
Designed to showcase diversity, the pack incorporates a variety of genres and tempos taken from countless sources and production techniques. Over 1,500 originally sourced loops and one-shots are included, plus nearly 200 sampler instruments.
While the main focus is on Electro, IDM, Ambient, Glitch, and more experimental areas of dance music, users will also find a substantial amount of content geared towards Techno, Drum & Bass and Hip Hop.
These sounds were developed with cross-pollination and interchangeability as a primary focus, in an attempt to transcend the conventions and restraints of traditional genre-based collections.
In detail, ‘EVAC: Source’ offers 1.29 GB of royalty-free audio content in 24-Bit/44.1kHz resolution and contains over 1,500 originally-sourced loops and one-shots. In addition, nearly 200 multi-format sampler instruments are included for EXS, Kontakt, Battery and Halion users.
Notable highlights include pre-mapped bass, synth, pad and atmospheres as well as the inclusion of 30 multi-kits, incorporating drums, FX, and synths into one multi-sample instrument. These multi-kits allow users to open one instance of their preferred sampler and simply get to work, leaving only the limits of imagination to hold them back.
The sample library is available to purchase for £35 GBP.
