HelloSamples has announced the release of its new sample pack Silky Juke, a collection of furious grooves and melodies inspired by early ’90s Chicago juke and footwork movement derived from ghetto house.

Containing elements of hip hop, jazz, funk, and disco, the pack delivers deep basslines, jazzy chords progressions, edgy synths, wide pads, orchestral strings, vocal chops and energetic drum beats.

The pack is completely done in 160 bpm, but all the melodic kits have a jazzy feel wich is easy to adapt to any hiphop or soulful trap production on a halftime tempo (80 bpm). Besides this, all melodic loops are also served as midi files and key labelled for total control of your production process.

Inside you’ll find 209 loops & 558 one shots, divided into 15 construction kits that contains: drums & percussions (113 loops / 202 one shots), strings (12 loops / 38 one shots), synths (21 loops / 73 one shots), keys (32 loops / 147 one shots), vocals (21 loops / 25 one shots), and basses (15 loops / 13 one shots) to keep your feets moving for days!

“A lot of Wavetable preset packs I found on internet are only focusing on bringing modern cliché sounds or presets that fit a certain fashionable genre.
I wanted to escape from all this by offering something new… Looking to bring a really expressive library I browsed my personal presets and I saw I had already a lot of beautiful arpeggiated presets based on Ableton’s Wavetable synth.

So this was the route I took.

The collection is versatile and full of different colours. From very subtle chimes and soft bell sounds to more synthetic and experimental tones. The Wavetable engine is so vast that I managed to even build organic sounds with reminiscences of real acoustic ones.”
