HISS and a ROAR has introduced a new MiniFX series sound library featuring a collection of sounds created with a metal trunk.
Big old metal shipping trunks like this one were more common back in the day, as they were often used when migrating all the way around the globe to New Zealand. All of a families possessions would be carefully packed and then shipped between ports. This one still has the labels indicating the 23000km/15000mile journey by sea from the UK to NZ. But You can imagine the first thing I did when I got my hands on this one… I gave it a thump to check the resonance!
Featuring a total of 205 Wav files, the sample library brings the sounds of lid slams and latch moves, impacts, friction sounds, and more.
