Plugin Boutique has posted a tutorial video in which Joshua Caspar shows you how to find the root note of any audio sample using the MAutoDynamicEQ plugin from Meldaproduction.
In this video tutorial, you will see how easy it is to discover the root note of any audio sample using any Melda Production EQ. In this video Joshua Casper will be using MAutoDynamicEQ, however each of Melda’s EQs have this same functionality.
Essentially, all you need to do is look for the tallest peak in the EQ’s audio spectrum and there is a bit of dialogue that tells you the note of the peak. The highest peak is the root note! Boom, that’s it.
