HY-Plugins has introduced an update to its sampler type plugin that allows you to load audio samples and have them chopped into audio slices.
HY-Slicer 2 features a step sequencer for triggering sliced samples, a groove editor, re-orderable effects chain, pattern chainer, randomizer, and more.
Loaded audio samples will be chopped into audio slices called Slicer Units. Since, there are 8 Slicer Units available, you will be able to load 8 different audio samples in a single instance of the plugin. You can also assign sliced samples to individual grid lanes.
Each sampler track also has 16 separate grid lanes. You will be able to assign up to 16 different slices per track. Each sampler unit is driven by the internal grid sequencer.
Finally, the sampler outputs through the Step FX and Master FX before reaching the final audio output.
