Hzandbits Sound Effects has announced the release of a new sound collection of ocean waves crashing onto beaches, jetties, breakwaters and more.
Sea & Surf contains nearly 6 hours (11 GB) of wave sound effects in 49 separate files, all recorded in 24bit/96kHz quality.
From the shallow waters of Aarhus Bay, to the roaring North Sea at Hanstholm on the shoulder of Jutland, you get a multitude of recording perspectives and distances – including the inside of a WW2 concrete bunker, slowly getting swallowed by the sea.
Sounds were recorded in both A-B stereo and mid-side, with the latter included both in their original form, as well as X/Y stereo.
Priced $68.75 USD, all files in the Sea & Surf sound library include embedded metadata and are compliant with the Universal Category System, the emerging standard for naming sound files, as developed by leading Hollywood audio professionals.
