The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) has announced an exclusive music production masterclass with record producer Martin Glover aka ‘Youth’ at ICMP’s fantastic facilities in Kilburn, London.
Youth’s prolific production career spans three eras of music and encompasses a myriad of styles, genre’s and artists including David Gilmore, Primal Scream, Guns N’ Roses, The Verve and Paul McCartney. He was producer for The Verve’s classic ‘Urban Hymns’ Album including the massive hits ‘Bitter Sweet Symphony’, ‘Lucky Man’ and ‘Sonnet’, and has also collaborated as a songwriter with Paul McCartney.
Other production and remix credits, too many to list in full, include U2, Pink Floyd, Kate Bush, Guns n’ Roses, Primal Scream, The Charlatans, Crowded House, That and Tom Jones. He was also the bass player for seminal post punk band Killing Joke.
This not-to-be-missed masterclass is an exclusive opportunity to hear and learn from one of the masters of the music industry and is open to all ICMP students and alumni.
The event will take place on January 18th, 2017.
