Inear Display has announced a new update for its sound design playground Amalgame, a multi-effect plugin that aims to streamline the creation of complex signal processing chains.
Amalgame provides a library of 23 effects ranging from bread and butter filters and delays to more esoteric and glitchy processors, which are always accessible and ready to be dropped on 6 XY pads where their key parameters are mapped to each axis.
Version 1.5 comes with individual dry/wet controls for effect slots. Each slot now has a dedicated dry/wet mix slider to give you fine grained control over how each effect impacts the whole chain.
The update also brings new fill menu for the sequencers. The sequence randomization button has been replaced by a fill button that opens a menu with various options to fill or process the sequence values.
Available for Windows and Mac (VST3/AU), Amalgame is priced 59 EUR ex. VAT where applicable.
